OFFICE OF THE LEAD INVESTIGATOR
Report 004: Terminal Entry // 04-13: Sensor Drift
Location: Sector 7 / Forest Perimeter
Subject: The Collapse of Agricultural AI
Investigator: Geoff T. Green

The Anomaly
For weeks, the automated harvesters on the fringe of the Blackwood estate have been stopping mid-furrow. The diagnostics reported "Obstacle Detected," but the human crews saw nothing but open grass. Today, I brought the newly salvaged Spectre-Cam to the perimeter.
The Result
Through the Spectre-Cam’s specialized lens, the "nothing" wasn't empty. There is a shimmering barrier—a dense "Data Wall" of cascading digital noise—cutting through the physical field. The AI sensors aren't malfunctioning; they are seeing a chaotic reality that has been overlaid on top of the physical world. They can't resolve the conflict between the grass and this information from another time, so they simply shut down.
The drift is moving outward from the forest. Whatever is in Blackwood is expanding its footprint. I’m heading in.
