OFFICE OF THE LEAD INVESTIGATOR

Finalized Report 008: The Logic Array Deployment

Location: Sector 7 / Blackwood Deep

Subject: Phase-Locked Reconstruction

Investigator: Geoff T. Green

Visual 008: Activation of the four-tile array //  Old World laboratory interface

The Alignment

One tile brought a vision; four tiles created a lens. I returned to the vertical static tear in the Blackwood deep, having unearthed three additional ceramic plates from the perimeter ruins. When laid out in a perfect quad-formation on the forest floor, the feedback loop was immediate.

The Manifestation

A massive, hollow pyramid of golden light erupted upward from the array. Inside the boundaries of this light, the pixelated static of the forest didn't just clear—it vanished, replaced by a perfectly rendered, multi-level laboratory from the Old World. It stands like a ghostly, semi-transparent hologram overlapping the dark, twisted trees of our present. I am standing at the edge of a world that theoretically shouldn't exist.

The Terminal Output

As the Spectre-Cam hovered to capture the projection, the Thinkpad in my pack chimed. The cipher lock hadn't opened, but a sub-routine had cracked. A single string of raw text overrode the terminal screen:

SUM, ERGO COGITO, ERGO SCRIBO, PROFECTO.

This laboratory isn't just a recording. It's a blueprint. Someone went to immense trouble to leave this gateway exactly where I would find it.
